Jerold Steed is the heart and soul behind Photography by Steed, a business he began over 40 years ago with a camera, a vision, and a deep love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. A proud studio owner in Oklahoma City for many years, Jerold’s passion for photography has never wavered. He is known not only for his incredible eye behind the lens but also for his playful spirit—forever a big kid at heart—which made every session with him feel like a memory in the making. Jerold built this business from the ground up, laying the foundation with dedication, talent, and a genuine love for the families and faces he photographed. His work has touched generations, and his influence continues to shape every shot we take today. As his child, I can say with all my heart that I wouldn’t be where I am without him—personally or professionally. It is an honor and privilege to continue his legacy, to carry on the name Photography by Steed, and to walk in the footsteps of someone I admire so deeply. We thank him daily for the path he paved and the memories he helped preserve for so many.
